WCSF2015 Symposium: Soccer Science for Practitioners


WCSF2015 and the Danish Football Association will be running a Symposium for practitioners on 19 May 2015, focusing on match analyses, anaerobic training and testing.

Foto: Per KjærbyePresentations by 6 top-level soccer scientists as well as a Danish top-coach and the technical director of the Danish FA will describe and discuss the use of match analyses with advanced technologies, and give practical examples on match-specific individualized anaerobic speed endurance training drill, sprint training drills and soccer-specific testing.

The symposium is for soccer scientists as well as for practitioners and will combine presentations, training sessions and group work.

Confirmed speakers are Carlo Castagna (Italy), Svein Arne Pettersen (Norway), Magni Mohr (Faroe Islands), Paul Bradley (United Kingdom), Morten Randers (Denmark), Peter Rudbæk(Denmark) and Peter Krustrup (Denmark). See more information about the speakers for the practitioners day here.

The organizing committee constitutes Peter Rudbæk (Danish FA) and Peter Krustrup, Morten Randers and Malte Nejst Larsen (University of Copenhagen).

  • Price: The prize is 200 Euro, but only 100 Euro for congress participants.
